OUR PAYMENT POLICY
At All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, we believe in clear communication, mutual understanding and respect. Thus we feel that as a valued client, you will appreciate knowing in advance what our payment policies are. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Avian and Exotic appointments
Due to high demand there is a $45 deposit on all exotic, avian and reptile appointments. This deposit will be applied to the charges incurred at the visit, or will be forfeited if the appointment is missed or canceled with less than 48 hours notice. When scheduled appointments are missed or cancelled with little notice, the hospital isn't the only one affected. Patients are denied the opportunity to come in that they would have had if the appointment was cancelled with proper notice. In order to avoid this situation, we attempt to contact each client the day before the appointment to confirm the time and date.
Following an examination of your animal, the veterinarian in charge will provide an estimate of the approximate cost of services, procedures, tests, drugs and supplies to treat your animal. This estimate will reflect only the initial diagnostic and treatment plan and may change, based on your pet’s needs or your treatment decisions.
Payment is required at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment for new clients are credit cards and cash, once a relationship has been formed between the hospital and client personal checks can be used. If your animal is hospitalized, a minimum of 50% or up to 75% of the estimate is due prior to services being provided; the final payment is due when your animal is discharged. We will update you on the progress of your pet and any additional treatment that is needed.
Treatment of your animal is determined by your decisions, with consideration of your own financial resources. You have the right to decline any or all treatment suggested for your animal.

Any refunds will be processed to the original method of payment; however we do not issue cash refunds. Refunds for services paid in cash will be processed by check and mailed within 5-10 business days. All Creatures Veterinary Hospital charges $28.00 for returned checks.
If your animal is insured, please provide the name of the insurance company at the time of check-in. As the owner, you are responsible for payment to All Creatures Veterinary Hospital for costs incurred and the insurance company will reimburse you based on your agreement with them.
